Snapchat has introduced a new feature called Friendship Profiles, designed to celebrate and highlight relationships with close friends on the platform. These profiles compile all saved content from chats with a particular friend or group, including images, videos, messages, links, and Snap Map locations (if shared). Each Friendship Profile is unique, curating special moments shared with that friend or group of friends.
Key Features of Friendship Profiles
The main purpose of Friendship Profiles is to provide users with a quick and easy way to access their favorite memories and important saved information. The more you share and save content together, the richer and more comprehensive these profiles become. This serves as a private showcase of the relationship, which starkly contrasts with other social media platforms that emphasize public sharing.

Accessing Friendship Profiles
To view a friend's Friendship Profile, users simply need to tap on their friend's Bitmoji. This will bring up a detailed history of all the interactions, saved snaps, and chats with that friend. Friendship Profiles offer a personalized snapshot of each unique connection, ensuring each profile is tailored to the specific memories shared between friends.
Privacy and Rollout
One of the standout aspects of Friendship Profiles is their privacy. Unlike other social media platforms, these profiles are only visible to the user and the friend or group involved. This ensures that the content shared within a Friendship Profile remains confidential. The rollout is set to gradually reach Snapchatters globally starting on November 13th, giving users a chance to get accustomed to this feature.
Additional Features: Bitmoji Stories
Alongside Friendship Profiles, Snapchat is also launching Bitmoji Stories. These are comic strips featuring the user’s Bitmoji, with frequent appearances from friends' Bitmojis. This new feature will be available in English starting November 14th, with new episodes being released weekly in the Discover feed.
