How to View Your Stories on Facebook

Facebook introduced a feature called stories not too long ago that allows users to share snippets of their day with others. A story can be viewed for 24 hours, after which it disappears from the audience’s feed. This can be frustrating to anyone who loves looking at other people’s content, but thankfully, there are ways to view old stories on facebook (even after 24 hours).

The easiest way to watch your older Facebook Stories is by opening the mobile app or going to your profile page in a web browser. When on your profile, tap the three dots towards the top and select “Story Archive.” Here you’ll find all of your previous Stories in a chronological order.

Alternatively, you can also view your old Facebook Stories by selecting the “Highlights” option. When on your profile, click the star emoji on the bottom left to see your highlights. You can see all of your highlighted photos or videos in a chronological order here. You can also name each highlight to make it easier for you to find a specific one later.

The best part about this is that no one can see how many times you’ve viewed their story. This means you can snoop on your friends’ stories without them ever knowing. Unless of course, they’ve selected the star emoji on their own story and enabled “highlights” for you to see. In that case, your friend’s privacy settings may have to be changed for you to view their previous stories.
