How to Share a Facebook Post to Instagram After Posting?

Instagram posts have a much higher reach than Facebook posts. This is because Instagram posts are more visually appealing and users are more engaged with the content. While there are many other factors that influence reach (such as text, image size, time of day you post, and the content’s topic), there’s enough evidence to say that posting on Instagram is better for your business than Facebook.

However, if you want to get the most out of your reach and engagement on Instagram and Facebook, you can’t just post the same thing at the same time. Instead, you should try different strategies for posting on each platform.

One such strategy is to cross-post your Facebook posts on Instagram. While this isn’t ideal, it can be helpful in boosting your reach on both platforms. In this article, we’ll show you how to do it quickly and easily.

To get started, you’ll need to make sure that your Instagram and Facebook accounts are linked in Accounts Center. Once your accounts are connected, you can enable Instagram sharing for your Facebook posts by clicking on the toggle icon in the Facebook content posting tab. Once this is on, every Facebook post, story, or reel you create will be shared to your Instagram account automatically.

Keep in mind that this feature is only available for posts with a photo and you can only add hashtags to a Facebook post directly, not via a third-party app like Hootsuite. Additionally, this only works for Facebook posts that are published "now," and not when they’re scheduled for a later time.
