How to Redo a Clip on TikTok

If you’ve already posted a TikTok video and want to make some simple edits like deleting captions or changing music, you can simply save the original video and re-upload it. This is a much quicker process than redoing the entire video from scratch. The only downside is that the re-uploaded video will have the TikTok watermark.

The latest version of TikTok comes with a new feature called ‘Adjust Clips’. It gives users more editing capacity for their uploaded clips and even recorded ones. However, this feature seems to disappear every now and then which is a huge inconvenience for users especially when they are in the middle of editing a clip. Previously, to fix this issue, they had to delete the entire clip and re-shoot it section by section which is a time consuming process.

Luckily, we have found out that there is a way to get this feature back. To do so, you’ll need to follow the steps below.

First, you’ll need to find the video you want to reshoot. Once you’ve located it, tap on the “Me” icon and select “Drafts”. From here, you can see all of your saved drafts. You can also move clips around or add more footage to the existing clips if you need to. Just be sure to save your changes as you go along. Once you’re satisfied with your edits, you can upload the video as usual. You can even post your video to Instagram or other platforms with the TikTok watermark removed if you want to.
