Creating long facebook posts with background can be challenging to some, but it’s a great way to create a post that stands out and grabs attention. When choosing a color for your background, you should consider the meaning behind each color and how it may influence your audience.
If you’ve been on Facebook recently, you’ve probably noticed that some posts have boldface text on a colored background. This is a new Facebook feature that allows you to share more detailed information with your audience in an easy-to-read format.
Facebook allows up to 63,206 characters in a post with a background, which is a significant increase from Twitter’s limit of 140 characters. Although longer posts tend to have lower engagement than short ones, they can be helpful for specific goals such as in-depth explanations, education, and storytelling. Moreover, they can help you establish credibility and trust with your audience and foster discussion.
To add a background to your status, open the Facebook app and tap on the area that says “What’s on your mind?”. You’ll see a menu at the bottom that includes a multi-color button with the universal symbol for text (Aa). Select it to view more background options.
Note that the background feature is only available for text updates and not photos, videos, or links. You can also edit the text of your post to add more details, and change its visibility by selecting public, friends, or private from the editing window.
