How to Post to a Facebook Group

Posting to a facebook group can be a bit confusing. It’s important to follow the correct process in order to make sure that your posts get published to the right group in the most effective way possible. This article will show you how to do just that!

First you’ll want to make sure that you are logged in with a Facebook profile that has admin access to the Group. Then you’ll want to click the “Add Group” button at the top of your dashboard. Once you’ve added the Group you can begin scheduling content for it in either the Social Media Management section of Sprout or the Publishing Calendar.

When you’re ready to create a new post for your Facebook group, click the “Publish” or “Post” button. From there you’ll have the option to choose which Profile or Page to post as. If you’re posting as a Page you can also add tags and/or campaigns to your post.

If you’re posting as a Facebook profile, you’ll have the option to tag friends with their names in the post. This is a great way to engage with your audience.

Facebook also lets you attach files to your posts, which is a great feature for groups. For example, you can upload a PDF file with a post in your group and share it with everyone in the group. This is helpful if you have information that would be helpful for all of your members to see!
