How to Merge Two Facebook Business Pages

Facebook makes it possible for you to merge two business pages you own. This can be useful if you have multiple Facebook pages for the same project, business or brand and wish to consolidate them into one page with all followers and likes.

The process is a little complicated but fairly straightforward. Both of the Pages you wish to merge must be verified (which means they have a blue check mark next to them). The names of both Pages must match and the information on both pages must be identical, especially the physical address (if there is one).

You can only merge 2 Facebook business pages at a time. If you have more than this, you will need to submit a separate request for each one. The pages must also be admin-level and part of the same Business Manager account.

If you wish to keep both of the pages you want to merge after the merger, you will need to make sure that they are using the same name (and it is available). The page with the highest number of likes will become the new primary Page. This is a great way to get all of the engagement and likes from both pages into the most popular page.

Sadly, if you merge your Facebook pages, you will lose all of the likes and check-ins from the page that was merged into the other. It is a good idea to try and get as many likes on the main page before starting this process, as it will be impossible to recover once the pages are merged.
