How to Merge My Two Facebook Accounts

Merging Facebook accounts is not an easy task and there are many kinks that need to be worked out. But the good news is that it is doable and can be a great way to consolidate your online presence and save time for you or your business.

The first step is to ensure that the Pages you want to merge meet all the necessary criteria. The Pages must have the same name and represent the same entity (product or service). You can only merge two Pages if they are managed through the same Business Manager account. You must also be able to find and select the Pages you want to merge. Pages that are in the same location can be merged, but pages with different locations cannot be merged. Additionally, a Page that is verified can only be merged with another verified Page.

Once the Pages you want to merge have been approved, it may take up to five days for the process to be completed. During this period, you will not be able to edit or delete either of the Pages. Once the pages are merged, you will be notified by Facebook that the process has been completed.

One important thing to note is that when merging Pages, the followers and check-ins from the Page you are keeping will not double. Instead, they will simply be added to the number of followers for the Page you are keeping.
