How to Merge a Facebook Page

Having multiple Facebook pages can be confusing for both your fans and potential customers. If you have two pages that look similar or have a very similar name, you can merge them into one page. To be eligible to merge pages, you must be an admin of both and the pages must represent the same location and name. This is a simple process but it can take several days for the pages to be successfully merged. Before you start the process, make sure that the profile and header pictures are exactly the same on both pages. You may also want to download the content (likes and check-ins) from the page you plan on keeping.

Once you’ve verified that you are an admin on both Pages, open the Merge Pages link and select which Pages you want to merge. Facebook will notify you when the process is complete. You can only merge Pages that you own and that are a part of your Business Manager account. Once a page has been merged, it cannot be unmerged.

If you don’t see the Merge Pages link, it means that Facebook isn’t accepting new Page merge requests. If this is the case, you’ll need to convert a personal profile to a page before trying again. If you are having trouble merging your page, contact Facebook for help. In most cases, the reason that the merge is not working is because the two Pages aren’t identical or the people who like the pages don’t engage with them.
