How to Make Polls on YouTube

Getting your viewers involved in your live stream is one of the best ways to keep them engaged and boost your engagement. One way to do this is by creating a poll. YouTube allows you to make polls during your live stream or in your chat, so viewers can vote directly in the video and the results update in real time.

Polls are a great tool for gathering feedback and opinions from your subscribers, and can be used for any type of channel. For example, a cooking channel can use a poll to find out what ingredients viewers have in their kitchen, then create a video including those items. This will help them provide their audience with more helpful content and bridge the gap between their brand and their subscriber base.

To create a poll, head to your channel in YouTube Studio and click the “Create post” button. Select “Poll,” then add the question and options (up to five) that your viewers can choose from when they vote. Once you’ve finished creating your poll, click the “Post” button or schedule it to be posted at a later date.

Note: Only creators who meet the minimum monetization requirements and have been accepted into the YouTube Partner Program can create polls on their channels. You can also only create one poll per video. Additionally, polls can only be created and viewed during a live stream or in the video’s chat, not in a regular post.
