How to Link a Group to a Page

Facebook groups are a powerful tool for community engagement. While it's more common to see personal profiles join groups, it is possible for a Page to do so as well. It can then manage the group as a business, meaning it can post within the group as the Page rather than an individual. However, before you can do this, you'll need to link the group to the page.

In the group settings, click the More button and select Edit Group Settings. Then, under the Page Management section, click Link Your Page.

This will generate a Group Link that can be shared anywhere. It's a great way to promote your group to new people or share with potential customers. If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can also tap the three dots at the top of your screen to open the Group Info menu and access a QR code for the group (see screenshot below).

Now when you navigate to your Page's navigation tabs, you'll find the newly-linked Groups option in the list. Although your Page will have admin access to the Group, it won't have administrative permissions in the Group itself unless you add it as a Profile administrator in your Page's Settings.

This is a great feature to have available for Pages, especially those in the B2B space. It will allow them to create a community and engage with their audience on a deeper level.
