Performing a shadowban test can help you discover whether or not you’re experiencing a Twitter shadowban. You can check for a shadowban by using a third-party service or checking manually. Both methods are simple and won’t take more than five minutes to complete.
There are certain behaviors that can put your account at risk of getting flagged and eventually being shadowbanned. These include tweeting excessively, spamming, posting the same content on multiple accounts, and following a large number of accounts. Moreover, your tweets should comply with Twitter’s guidelines and shouldn’t contain threatening or violent content. Twitter’s goal is to receive fewer reports of spam and abuse, so if they notice that your profile is being flagged, they may lower the visibility of your posts.
How to Know If You’re Shadowbanned on Twitter
One of the most common signs of a Twitter shadowban is that you can’t see your own tweets on Twitter. You might also find that your tweets aren’t showing up in searches for specific keywords. Similarly, you might be unable to retweet other people’s tweets or comment on their posts.
Another way to know if you are shadowbanned is by looking at the reply of a post on another person’s profile. You can use a free online tool to perform this test. This service goes through a friend’s tweet, obtains the link to their reply, and opens it in a new tab. It then checks if the original post is visible in the tweet. If the answer is no, it’s likely that you are shadowbanned on twitter.
