How to Find SSI Score on LinkedIn

If you’re a salesperson or recruiter, it may be worth checking out your SSI score on linkedin. This LinkedIn metric assesses your ability to engage with people, find prospects and build relationships on the social platform. But it’s not a magic metric that tells you everything about your professional career or how effective you are at selling yourself on social.

It also looks at the quality of your network. It takes into account how many connections you have, who those connections are and what types of posts you share. It assumes you’re in sales, so it compares you to other users in the same industry.

A high SSI score can help you find jobs and connect with decision-makers. But it’s important not to get hung up on the number and focus on the value of your activity. It’s a good idea to use it as a barometer and motivation to keep working hard but not to get bogged down in trying to improve your LinkedIn SSI score.

LinkedIn updates your SSI daily. To find out what your SSI is, go to your profile and click on “Social Selling Index.” If you’re using Sales Navigator, you can access this information from your dashboard. A score of 51 to 75 is considered above average, and anything below that needs improvement.
