How to End a Google Ad Campaign

If you're not getting the results you expect from your google ad campaign, it may be time to end it. However, before you do, you should first understand what you're doing wrong and how to fix it.

One common issue is that your keywords aren't searched for often enough to justify a high bid. In this case, you should try adding less popular but relevant keywords or a different match type. Alternatively, you could reduce your bid or lower your daily budget to make sure that the CPC of your keywords doesn't exceed your set budget (which will prevent your ads from showing).

Another problem is that your ad isn't relevant to searchers. To check this, you can use a tool like AdWords' bid simulator to see how your ads rank for different searches. Then, you can adjust your ad copy or landing page to make them more relevant to these searches.

Finally, your ads might not be appearing because you've limited them to certain days or times of the day. This is usually because you're trying to spread your budget evenly, which can lead to lower performance on some days and better performance on others.

To do this, you need to go into the campaign manager and select "Campaigns". Then, click the "Pause" or "Resume" button next to each campaign.
