How to Edit Already Posted TikTok Video

When creating a video on TikTok, it is easy to add all sorts of different effects and songs that can make your creation really stand out. This is especially true if you take the time to edit your video before posting it online. However, sometimes you might want to change something in your video after it’s already posted. Maybe you realized that you forgot to fill in the caption, or perhaps you accidentally typed something wrong in the description. Unfortunately, there’s no button to edit a TikTok video once it’s been posted, but there is a workaround.

You can use a free app called InShot to edit your TikTok videos after they’ve been posted. This app allows you to add frames, texts, and even animate your videos in ways that aren’t available in the native TikTok app. It also allows you to create gifs from your video clips and combine two or more videos into a single clip. The only downside is that your videos will have an InShot watermark on them unless you pay the $10 per month fee for the Pro version of the app.

Another option is to download and reupload the original video to your profile using a software like TunesKit AceMovie, which can be used on both Windows and Mac computers. Once the video is downloaded, you can then edit it as needed, including adding a new description and cover photo. This method can be quite time consuming, and it will also delete any comments or likes the video has received so far.
