How to Edit a Video Already Post on TikTok

Whether you’re adding text to a video or correcting a typo, there are times when you might need to edit a video that has already been posted on tiktok. In this article, we’ll show you three possible ways to do so.

You can also save heavily edited videos as drafts before you post them, a handy feature that makes it easy to avoid any mistakes or forgetting about an important element of your video. To create a draft, select the video and tap the three dots (horizontal ellipsis) in the bottom right corner. You can then select “Save as a Draft” or “Post”.

Once you’ve saved a video, you can access it in your Drafts folder from the home screen. When you’re ready to post, simply select it and tap “Post”.

While TikTok does have an internal editor with plenty of features, it can still be limited when it comes to what you can do with your content. This is why many TikTokers use external video editing apps with more features and visual effects to create videos that will stand out on the platform.

TikTok has recently added a feature that allows you to save your videos without the company’s watermark. To enable it, find and click the “More options” button in the top-right corner of the post screen, then scroll down to the bottom and turn on the toggle. Once you do, your videos will be automatically saved in a higher-quality format.
