How to Change Facebook Story Background Color

There are a lot of things you can do with Facebook stories, including doodle, add stickers and write text. But it’s important to make sure your story is aesthetically pleasing, especially for the sake of the views you hope to get.

A story’s content can last up to 20 seconds, so it is important that your visuals are captivating enough to make people want to swipe to the next one and keep them engaged. A great way to do this is by using templates. These templates can help you communicate your brand’s vibe or convey a certain feeling. For example, if you’re running a Black Friday sale, a template with a photo front-and-center might be perfect.

When you tap the blue camera icon on Facebook, you can access different story formats. These include Photo — for posting photos and videos, Layout — for posting multiple images in different grid or collage configurations, Superzoom — for zooming in on a subject, and Poll — for conducting viewer polls between two options.

In the case of a text story, you can choose between font styles and background colors. To change the font style, first tap the text button on the left side of the screen. Then, select the font you want to use from the options.

After selecting a font, you can also change its size and position. To do this, simply pinch in or out to decrease or increase its size. Moreover, you can also choose the color of the background from the palette. If you’re happy with the text and the background color, you can then tap Share to your story.
