How Many Google Ads Accounts Can I Have?

A Google Ads account is a set of settings that control how you use the pay-per-click advertising platform. It’s also the base for your ads, campaigns and reporting. You can have many accounts, but each one is based on the same billing information. So, if you’re using the same credit card for multiple accounts, you might get a suspension notice from Google.

The account level is where you’ll find the basic settings that apply to your entire Ads account, like the time zone and billing information. You can also manage auto-tagging at this level, which lets you see how your ad clicks are leading to conversion actions (like downloads, signups or purchases).

Next is the campaign level. A campaign houses a bunch of ad groups that are based on a specific type of ad, such as search or shopping. You’ll set the budget, targeting, and more at the campaign level. Finally, you’ll have the ad groups that actually run your ads.

If you’re an agency or large advertiser, you might benefit from a manager account. It’s where you link all of your ad accounts together to make it easier to analyze performance and draw reports from one central location. To create a manager account, head over to the Ads Manager page and click the eCreate a manager account button. Once you’re signed in, you can choose the name of your manager account and how you plan to use it.
