How Do I Post As a Group Member on Facebook?

Facebook allows users to share posts on their page as a group member. This feature is especially useful for businesses and organizations that use their pages as a way to interact with fans. However, it can be confusing to figure out how to do it. In this article, we will guide you through the process of posting as a group member on Facebook.

Using this functionality requires a Page admin to create and manage the post in their group inbox. They’ll be able to view messages, Page comments and even comments on Page posts shared to the group. They can also choose to pause the group while keeping all existing members and content. This is a great option for businesses that need to address negative feedback or simply want to take a break from the group.

When the pause is over, they can choose to resume the group at a later date. Alternatively, they can delete the group entirely. However, deleting a group will cause all of the members to receive no notification and it will be very difficult to manually remove each person from the list. It’s much better to pause the group if you don’t plan to reactivate it than to delete it.

If you’re a group admin and would like to allow members to post anonymously, head over to the Group settings in the left sidebar and toggle on People can submit anonymous posts. Keep in mind that the identity of a post will still be visible to your group admins and moderators to enforce community standards and enforce Facebook’s Terms of Service.
