How Do I Merge 2 Facebook Accounts?

The process of merging pages on Facebook can be helpful for businesses going through a rebrand or acquisition. It can help ensure consistency with the new brand name and help existing followers find the Page that best matches their needs. However, it’s important to understand how the merge will impact your audience and business information. It’s also a good idea to create a plan for addressing any questions or concerns that may arise.

To be eligible for a Page merge, the Pages must have the same name and represent the same location. In addition, both Pages must be managed under the same Business Manager account. Once the merge is complete, the Likes and check-ins from both Pages will be combined. Posts, reviews, and other content will be preserved on the Page you keep. If you want to avoid losing any data, it’s a good idea to download your Page information before starting the merge process.

If your Pages aren’t eligible for a merger, try requesting a name change. If that doesn’t work, you can claim the Pages (if they are unmanaged) and then merge them.

Note that you can’t merge a Facebook Page with a Personal Profile. This is because pages are intended for businesses, brands, and public figures, while profiles are for individual users. However, you can convert a personal account to a page. To do so, visit the “Profile to Page” page on Facebook and follow the instructions.
